ADAM WORONOWICZ
Theatre and film actor, blessed with a warm, magical voice, graduate of Warsaw’s Theatre Academy.
W.Krzystek’s “Photographer”, “Wałęsa” from A.Wajda, “Red Spider” from M.Koszałka, “Angel” once again from W.Smarzowski and “Kindergarten lady” of M.Kryształowicz.
In 1997 he debuts in Sundries Theatre in Warsaw and since 2001 he is known for performing for General Theatre. In 2013 he takes part in a few significant movies as W.Smarzowski’s “Road Patrol” , “Love” of S.Fabicki, J.Zaorski’s “Polish Syberia tale” and now he works in productions that are waiting to be presented:
Success coming from the popularity among wide audience was a result of a title role in movie “Popiełuszko, freedom is inside us” made by Rafał Wieczyński. Then he creates interesting characters in “Rewers”, “General Nile”. “Ki”, “Women are somehow different” as well as in television, for instance in “The time of honour”, ;The mysteries of code fortess” and “God’s lining 2”.
In 2011 he receives an Eagle for “The best peripheral role” in “Baptism” of Marcin Wrona. Adam Woronowicz is also a winner of many theatrical awards: in 2003 he gets Feliks for the best male peripheral role in “The shape of things” play, in 2005 Award in Memoriam of Aleksander Zelwerowicz for a play in “Straw Hat” and in 2013 he gets Grand Prix for a creation in “Bat or my cementary”. For a role of Miron Białoszewski in “The diary from the Warsaw Uprising” on National Festival of Polish Radio and Theatre “Two Theatres” he gets Grand Prix: this role was also appreciated by the award im. Stefan Treugutt.
