Ian, a new instrcutor of spatial orientation, arrives at the prestigious ophthalmological clinic in Lisbon. He is to carry out classes with the blind. The clinic staff is doubtful about his unconventional methods. Ian attaches little importance to the sensory perception. In his opinion, it is the mind and the imagination which allow to move around ably and lead an active life.
