ABOUT DIRECTOR:
He comes from Mazury. Graduated from Acting School by Halina and Jan Machulscy. He adores good, polish cinema, especially movies by Munk, Chmielewski, Chęciński, Bareja, Koterski, Machulski, Bromski, Pasikowski - their way is the one he would like to follow. He doesn’t give up acting and plays also in his own films. His first pictures were engaged and touched matters and problems of his hometown.

A small provincial town. Michał and Kuba dream of starting a business. To raise funds for this purpose they volunteer to serve a mission in Afghanistan. Fourth tour of peacekeeping forces turns out to be unlucky: during one of the patrol car, where they were friends, falls on a mine. After returning home Michał has big trouble with finding himself in the new reality. The film is based on the true story of a Scottish private Barry Delaney.

Krzysztof Kasior was born in 1980 in Trzebnica. He is a student of the Krzysztof Kieślowski Faculty of Radio and Television on the University of Silesia in Katowice. He creates short films and documentaries. He’s currently working on a feature-length debut.

George Orwell’s words “sanity is not statistical” fully conclude dominant idea of this movie. Daniel, who has just been released from prison, tries to make a life from scratch. It’s not easy - he must take care of his mother, an alcoholic, and find a job. Maybe at least the relationship with a medical lifeguard, who he has just met, can bring him happiness? The title “normal people” are the ones with secrets and weaknesses but also dreaming of a better “normality”. Will these dreams come true?
ABOUT DIRECTOR:
Peter Złotorowicz was born in 1982 in Dębno. He’s a graduate of Automation and Robotics at the Technical University of Szczecin. During his studies at the Polytechnic filmed his first independent films. Since 2006 he has been studying at the Faculty of Direction at the PWSFTViT in Łódź. His documentary "Smolarze" (2010) was presented at approximately 120 international festivals DOK Leipzig, among others, and at more than 30 of them earned appreciation in the form of awards and honors. Another short film directed by him, this time feature film "Ludzie Normalni" (2011), which had its premiere at the 51st Krakow Film Festival, has been recognized, among others, at Plus Camerimage 2011 winning the Srebrna Kijanka award for cinematography.

Thirty years old Robert spends a night in a bar, getting drunk and coarsely picking up girls. At one point, accosted by a bartender, he starts to narrate a story in which he weaves his memories from Iraq and Afghanistan. It turns out Robert is a former soldier who took part in both interventions and peacekeeping missions. Generally he remembers his stay there as a bit more “hardcore” service in barracks. In the first place is a moonshine which soldiers run, taking advantage of appropriate conditions. Barmaid Zuza, who studies political studies, joins the talk. She introduces herself as a pacifist and tries to explain to Robert that any interventions and military missions are nothing but interference in internal affairs of sovereign countries. This leads to a conflict between two of them, in which each side is trying to convince other one to their argument.
ABOUT DIRECTOR:
Dominik Matwiejczyk was born 4 April 1979 in Wrocław. He's a director, screenwriter, producer of movies and television, owner of the movie studio PARADOX FILM. For his films has received over 50 awards, including in Poland, Germany, Belgium and Estonia. In 2004, his debut feature "Blood from a stone" got major awards including the Summer Film in Kazimierz, the Tofifest in Torun, Festiwal Wyszehradzki in Wroclaw and independent film competition organized by TVP. He was also the best Polish debut at the Międzynarodowy Festiwal Debiutów in Koszalin. A year later his next film “Ugór” has been winning more and more awards. He received for this picture among others the main prize in the Independent Festival in Gdynia. In cinema he debuted in 2006 with a TVP coproduction “Krótka histeria czasu”, starring Kamilla Baar, Mateusz Damięcki, Małgorzata Foremniak, Wojciech Mecwaldowski and Marek Probosz. He also worked as a director of series “Pitbull”, “Biuro kryminalne”, “Rajskie klimaty” and “Pierwsza miłość”.

ABOUT DIRECTOR:
Filip Gieldon was born in Stockholm in 1983. His parents are Poles. He was studying English literature and political studies at Stockholm University. Then he went to London, where he continued his studies in political science, film studies, poetry, and screenwriting. After returning to Sweden, he spent two years studying at the Stockholm Film School, while pursuing a program of study of political science at Stockholm University. He decided to return to the homeland of his parents, after he was admitted to the PWSFTViT in Lodz. He’s a student of fourth year of Faculty of Direction. He’s currently involved in the promotion of his debut film “Pocałunek”.

When little Peter gets brutally beaten up by the kids at the orphanage, he has no other choice than to escape. A new adventure begins. One that will change his life forever.
ABOUT DIRECTOR:
Piotr Ryczko was born in 1973 in Szczecin. Moved to Norway in the early 80s where for the next 20 years he initiated diverse artistic activity. Amongst others he was responsible for the design and the technical side of the first 3D animated mini-series in Norway “Two wasted Wankers”. In 2002 his first short film project wrapped production and was co-financed by the Norwegian Film Institute. “Mila” won many awards few years later. Amongst them Best Director at the festival Grand Off in Warsaw 2007. In 2003 he returned to Poland where he started the five year film director’s education at the PWSFTViT in Łódź. He finished the education in 2012 with an MFA in Fine arts and his final film project “Monster”. Currently he is working on his feature film debut “Pandora’s Box”.

Marek is directed to serve on a desolate border post in the middle of a dense forest. Only those who have a pass can go trough the barrier blocking the road. At the post shows up married couple with a little daughter. Man does not have the pass for baby and himself. However, he does not agree that his wife walked in alone. A man tries to convince Marek to turn a blind eye on lack of passes and let all three of them to cross the border. Driven to last resort, decides to camp with the family at the barrier.

In the hospital corridor meet two couples. Two young people are expecting a baby, that at any moment will appears in the world, the second pair is the elderly couple who have been called to the hospital to identify the body of their son. At the absence of men, women begin to talk to each other. It turns out that they have very much in common. They both suffer greatly, although for different reasons, but they realize that their pain comes from similar source. Mature woman is waiting for a call from a doctor hoping that was a mistake, that it's not her son lies in prosectorium. Son’s death would mean that it’s too late for everything in her life and anything that had any sense is gone forever. Therefore, clings to young girl, lest she didn’t lose her life.
