Polish musician, performer, music producer, songwriter, singer of the legendary band Sweet Noise, and now frontman My Riot, will also meet with the festival audience.
Quirky ideas performer is the result of the mixture of blood - Peter is the son of an Sudanese engineer and a Polish doctors. In early childhood meets the taste of Africa. At the age of seven years he went to Libya, and Sudan, the homeland of his father. After Polish compatriots returning to serve him "Polish inferno", which quickly gets into bad habits. The predicament pulls his father, proposes a return to Africa. Upon arrival found a group of Polish Glaca Sweet Noise, which strongly mixed in the Polish rock scene.
Since the beginning of the band's Glaca songwriter and singer. They refer to issues such as terrorism, violence, suffering, corruption, exploitation and racism. In his texts often use a simple, evocative language and profanity. First successes appear in 1994 after appearing in Węgorzewo and Jarocin, which give first album "Respect". Year 1996 brings another album, "Ghetto," which won in the category of heavy metal. The third album is released in 1998 „Koniec Wieku” (a year later published his English-language version of "The End of Century"). On the new album the fans have to wait until 2002, then with EMI to light showing „Czas ludzi cienia”, awarded with Frederick with he never recived and powerful concerts at Woodstock. A year later formed„Rewolta”, album of remixes and guest appearances. In 2007 is released the last album, "The Triptic", after which the band quit their work.
An important element in the work of Glacy are music videos. The first videos were created to track„Godno¶ć” and „Cisza” from album „Respect”. What is more interesting, „Cisza” was nominated for Yach award . The album "Ghetto" was created three music videos - to the song „Wyżej” directed by Yacha Paszkiewicza also „Bruk” and „Ghetto” directed by Jacka Taszkowskiego i Leszka Molskiego. Video for „Bruk” get Grand Prix festival Yach Film. In 2002 there are 3 more music videos for „Czas Ludzi Cienia”: „Dzisiaj mnie kochasz, jutro nienawidzisz”, in which Anna Maria Jopek apperead also „Nie było” i „N.U.E.R.H.A”.
During the implementation of various musical projects worked with such stars as Vader, Adam Darski, Krzysztof Raczkowski, O.S.T.R., Edyta Górniak, Natalia Kukulska, Anna Maria Jopek, Anja Orthodox and also Bogdan Kondracki. Moreover, as a singer was a guest on the albums Slums Attack, Ski Skład, Shahid, None and Black Glass. From 2009 with Justinem Chancellorem the American band Tool co-creator of the project "MTvoid. Glaca" is also the creator of the soundtrack for the film "We Are the Strange" by M. Strange.
In 2008, Peter Mohamed returns to the Polish music scene with the band My Riot, which arises due to the cooperation Glacy and TR Hacker. The band musically and lyrically continues the way defined by Sweet
