LUBUSZ PROVINCE: ELŻBIETA POLAK
This region in the heart of Europe, where for centuries crossed lines of communication and travel. It’s located in western Poland, bordered by the wielkopolskie, dolno¶l±skie and zachodniopomorskie provinces and with two German lands - Brandenburg and Saxony. Administratively divided into 83 municipalities make up 14 counties. The two largest cities is home to: Marshal in Zielona Góra and Governor Lubusz in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
It covers an area 13 988 km ², and is inhabited by 1 011 024 people. The population density is 72 people per km ², and is one of the lowest rates in Poland. Despite the low number of population, the region has a strong potential for social - is a region of youth, dynamism and diversity.
This wonderful land literally enchants everyone. Picturesque lakes and rivers are waiting for watersports enthusiasts and anglers. Great forests also amaze, rich in mushrooms and berries. For those who prefer hiking and cycling routes and the number of marked hiking trails, and horseback riding enthusiasts will find a lot of equestrian centers.
History confirms that it’s region of wine and honey. The tradition dates back to the thirteenth century and the Lubusz region runs the only in Poland Honey and Wine Route. This almost 300-kilometer route includes dozens of charming stops, among others, vineyards, museums and beekeepers’ farms, where you can try it, it tastes like a really natural Lubusz.

NOWA SÓL COUNTY: ZBIGNIEW SUSZYŃSKI
Located in the southeastern part of the Lubusz, the middle Oder. Created in 1999 as part of the administrative changes. The county seat is located in Nowa Sól.
Other major cities included in the county are: Odra Bytom, Kożuchów, Nowe Miasteczko. All of these villages in recent years has been extensively modernized and their tourism offer has been consistently expanded. Tourists are attracted extraordinary wealth of monuments and forests (they are as much as 38% of the county). Fans of fishing and swimming will have great fun on the shores of one of the many lakes - Sławskie or Tarnowskie Duże. Those who consistently want to be on the water will delight a lighter cruise on the Odra.
It provides a close look at the unique flora and fauna and historical sites such as the Mausoleum of Princess Wanda Dönnersmark and historic castle of family Schönaich (Siedlisko) or the Renaissance town hall (Bytom Odrzański). The district authorities carry out several projects in cooperation with the German neighbor. It is based mainly on mutual learning about themselves, their culture, history and customs.

THE CITY OF NOWA SÓL: WADIM TYSZKIEWICZ
Experiencing different fortunes in the 60s of the twentieth century, the city became a major industrial center and such its profile has been preserved to this day. Especially the last 10 years have brought strong economic growth in Nowa Sol. On the outskirts of the city was established Kostrzyńsko-Słubicka Special Economic Zone. This area is growing steadily expanding infrastructure for new investors. Zone is also preparing its land for Scientific and Technological Park, which is expected to bring development and attractiveness to Nowa Sol. Successive small and medium entrepreneurs see in this region a good place for the development of their business. The pride of the city are garden figures. Works of Nowa Sól’s craftsmen can enjoy abroad, including the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria.
Also the city changes itself. In recent years, a promenade was created, central square of the city refurbished, parks - including the Park Krasnala (Dwarf Park) for the youngest rebuilt. As part of the co-financing from the European Union Fund there are plans in the near future to purchase two boats of white fleet. More and more often it is said that the river ceased to be identified only with the threat, but also a great ability to enhance the area. It is planned to build a modern marina for passengers and tourists.

SENATOR OF THE POLISH REPUBLIC: ROBERT DOWHAN
Senator of the Republic of Polish Senate’s eighth term. He is an active member of the Committee on Family and Social Policy and the Emigration Affairs and Contacts with Poles Abroad. During the 37 meetings of the Senate he submitted 50 senators' statements, on local issues and on the country. He is also a Vice-President of the Parliamentary Group for Motor Sport, Parliamentary Group for Small and Medium Enterprises and Parliamentary Olympic Team. He is a member of the Parliamentary Group of the School of Sport and the Parliamentary Group of the Space.
Senator is also active in the Polish-Japanese Parliamentary Group, the Polish-Russian Parliamentary Group, the Group Bilateral Polish-United States, and participates in the work of the Polish-Iranian and Polish-Canadian groups. This vast range of interests promotes developing contacts that are needed to find opportunities for economic development for the region of Lubusz. He’s also a businessman, the owner of a thriving company, winning prestigious awards, among others Forbes Diamonds.
Speedway activist, long-term President of Zielona Góra’s Speedway Club, supports Stelmet Falubaz team. Privately supporter of an active lifestyle, marathon runner, lover of good music.
