He gains popularity after his role as Przemek Woliński in the TV series “Samo życie”. This creation is also appreciated during the Nationl Film Festiwal “Prowincjonalia” In Września, where he receives “Jańcio Wodnik” award for the best male role.
The film raises much controversy – it induces praises as well as outrage, and certainly it encourages the viewer to think.
-I have the impression that this movie is very emotional, it’s true, but controversy around it makes me laugh a little – Ireneusz Czop confesses during the broadcast of Ex Magazine – There were indeed plenty of cases, when people judged it negatively even without seeing it. Ridiculous is also painting Stars of David on the actors’ faces on posters.
This year, the actor can be seen in Maria Sadowska’s film “Dzień Kobiet” or Anna Wieczur-Bluszcz’s “Być jak Kazimierz Deyna” and earlier he appeared in “W Ciemnościach” by Agnieszka Holland, “Jestem Twój” by Mariusz Grzegorzka. Recently, Ireneusz Czop is working on the set of “Jack Strong” directed by Władysław Pasikowski and “Zabójcza miłość” directed by Jakub Nieścierow.
In addition, Ireneusz Czop appears on the small screen in such TV series as “Misja Afganistan”, “Na dobre I na złe”, “Prawo Agaty”, “Wojna I miłość”, “Szpilki na Giewoncie”.
