PRZEMYSŁAW BLUSZCZ
Actor, film and theater. Privately married to actress and director Anny Wieczur-Bluszcz, dad of 14yo Borys and 11yo Iwa. Trained as a puppeteer.
The dream of acting sprouted since the theater workshop at the Municipal House of Culture in Radomsk. The future first actor studied include Czestochowa and Kalisz. Coveted debut came in 1995 at the Dramatic Theatre in Legnica. Przemysław Bluszcz played the role of Athos in "The Three Musketeers" by Alexandre Dumas, directed by Jacek Glomba and as Fryderyka in „Jak wam się podoba?”. After graduation, he became involved with Personality Theater in Wrocław.
After a few years he moved to the theater Helena Modrzejewska in Legnica. He played great roles, playing the character, such as: Kordian, Hamlet or Othello. He made his debut in 2004 in the film „W dół kolorowym wzgórzem” directed by Przemysława Wojcieszka. He played Tadka. Film was awarded by Złoty Lew in Gdynia for best directing. Since then, Przemysław Bluszcz on the big screen comes up very often. He appeared in the international award-winning film in Kyoto, Vancouver, Tirana and Kosovo - „Ciemnego pokoju nie trzeba się bać” directed by Kuba Czekaj. In 2009 he played in „Operacja Dunaj” and "Zerze", and year afterthat in black comedy of Juliusz Machulski „Kołysanka”. He also played a great role of Father Edmund in "Made in Poland". On the small screen, we could see him on numerous series including „Ratownicy” or „Naznaczony”. Is a character actor. Top game villains: tyrants, torturers, executioners. He received prize Best Debut Actor on Polish Film Festival in Gdynia for his role in „W dół kolorowym wzgórzem” and he was also nominated for Polish Independent Film Award im. Jana Machulskiego for „Ciemnego pokoju nie trzeba się bać”. Since two years there on the stage of the Athenaeum Theatre in Warsaw.
